Starting in Trimester 1 students can run for class government, 加入一个组织, or apply for work study positions.
Starting in Trimester 2 students can apply to be a mentor, ambassador, or tutor.
Starting in Trimester 3 students can apply for the LSG执行委员会.
LSG is always advocating for a better campus community and we rely heavily on our Class Officers to be a part of that change. Becoming involved as a Class Officer furthers your development both as a student and as a future doctor. Being a leader shows drive and passion for the profession of chiropractic and sets you apart from other students. Get involved at Logan, create the experience you expect, and better yourself along the way. Our LSG 国会议员 supervises Class Officers, so please reach out to them if you have questions about getting involved!
Becoming a tutor is a great opportunity to assist lower trimester students as they navigate their way through Logan’s rigorous academic 程序s. It also provides the opportunity to spend more time working with subjects you are passionate about. Many of our tutors admit that it is very rewarding to hear they were able to help a student gain a deeper understanding of course material, 考试成功, or become more passionate about a subject. If you are interested in tutoring, reach out to Assistant Dean of 学生 Progress.
通常, the first faces that new and prospective students see upon visiting campus are our 学生大使s. Becoming an Ambassador is a great way to know more about what is going on around campus and allows you to connect with students on a personal level. Ambassadors are responsible mostly for New 学生 Orientation and Future Leopard Weekend, but are often seen showing visitors around our campus throughout the week. If you are interested in being a 学生大使, reach out to the Assistant Dean of 学生 Engagement.
The Logan Leopard 导师计划 is a 程序 for first trimester students that pairs them with an upper trimester student to gain insights about the 捏脊医生 程序. Consider it your personal helper for getting adjusted to life on campus! It is an awesome opportunity to get connected with students in various trimesters and get involved around 安全正规的棋牌游戏平台排行. Once you have completed your first trimester, you can apply to be a mentor yourself through a simple application process. The LSG执行委员会 provides oversight for most of the student involvement opportunities. The board is comprised of ten members, as seen at the top of the page. Becoming a member of the LSG执行委员会 is a major step in being a leader on campus. This is the highest level of leadership you can be a part of on our campus. If you have a passion for improving your campus environment, providing resources for your peers, and hosting large-scale events, the LSG执行委员会 might just be for you.
